PE/PP/PS/ABS Disc Type Pulverizer
>Working Principle
Raw materials enter the grinding cavity and are squeezed, sheared and pulverized between rotating disc and fixed disc. Driven by airflow and centrifugal force, fine powder passes through the screen and is discharged. Oversized particles circulate for regrinding. The low-temperature grinding design avoids material thermal deterioration.
>Applications
1. Rotomolding Products PE is ground into fine powder for producing high-quality rotomolded tanks, buckets and hollow products.
2. Recycled Plastic Pelleting Reprocess waste PE into standard pellets via extrusion pelleting, then grind into powder for various molding applications.
3. Modified Compounds & Masterbatches Serves as base powder for filler masterbatch, color masterbatch and functional modified plastics.

Q1: What is its working principle?
A: Raw materials enter the pulverizing cavity and are repeatedly squeezed, sheared and pulverized between rotating disc and fixed disc. Fine qualified powder passes through the screen and is discharged by airflow and centrifugal force; oversized particles circulate back into the cavity for re-pulverizing.
Q2: What’s the difference between disc type pulverizer and plastic granulator?
A: Granulator crushes plastic into flakes; disc pulverizer further grinds flakes or pellets into 20–80 mesh fine powder, which meets the special raw material demand of plastic industries.
Q3: Can this machine grind soft plastic materials such as EVA?
A: Standard model works well for medium-hard PE, PP, PS, ABS. For soft EVA materials, we can customize enhanced cooling structure and special tooth discs to reduce sticking during grinding.
